Tazarv Community is a student-led initiative dedicated to supporting immigrants in Canada by fostering empowerment, community, and connection. Our goal is to help newcomers navigate cultural, social, and professional challenges through mentorship, education, and advocacy.
We believe that every immigrant deserves access to resources, guidance, and a welcoming community. Whether someone is adjusting to a new country, seeking career opportunities, or looking for a support network, Tazarv Community is here to provide the tools they need to thrive.

In October 2024, Tazarv Community and Margulis Tutor joined forces to expand educational support for newcomers, with a strong emphasis on language learning. By integrating the expertise of tutors from Margulis Tutor, this collaboration ensures that newcomers receive high-quality education tailored to their needs. Beyond providing educational services, this partnership also fosters a sense of community engagement by encouraging Margulis students to join Tazarv Community and actively contribute to supporting newcomers. This initiative not only enhances learning opportunities for those in need but also empowers students and tutors to make a meaningful impact by giving back to their own communities, fostering a culture of mentorship, inclusion, and support.
Our Team
Tazarv Community was founded in 2021 by Kiarash Bahari, Bahar Ahmadi, Negar Norouziesfahani, and Faezeh Kazemian initially focusing on supporting immigrant women, particularly single mothers new to Canada. Since January 2024, with the help of our dedicated volunteers, we have expanded our services to assist all immigrants in settling into their new communities.
